What money can and can’t buy

Every tool is scored against the same public rubric, paid or not. These rules are the reason hosts trust the directory, so they apply to every vendor without exception.

You can pay for

A guaranteed review of your tool within 14 days
Your logo, verified details and a reader deal code on your card
A quarterly report of clicks we send to your site
A sponsored slot that is always labelled “Sponsored”

You can’t pay for

A higher score, or a better position in our rankings
A “Best”, “Top pick” or editor’s-choice badge
Positive wording, or removal of cons from a review
A guaranteed listing — tools that fail our review aren’t listed

Questions vendors ask

What if my tool doesn’t pass the review?

It isn’t listed, and we send you written feedback explaining why. The review fee pays for our testing time, so it isn’t refunded. If you bought an Enhanced Listing, the annual fee is refunded in full and the subscription cancelled.

Can I list my tool for free?

We still add tools we think hosts need, whether or not the vendor pays — you’re welcome to email us. Paying guarantees we review your tool promptly rather than whenever it reaches the top of our queue.

Can I edit my listing?

Send us factual corrections (pricing, features, integrations) any time and we’ll verify and update them. The review, score and wording are ours alone.

How do billing and renewals work?

Payments are handled by Stripe. You get a receipt and invoice automatically and can add a VAT or tax ID at checkout. Enhanced Listings renew yearly; cancel any time from your billing portal and the enhanced extras are removed at the end of the paid year — your standard listing stays.

Does having an affiliate program help my score?

No. Some tools in the directory pay us a commission when readers sign up, and that never affects scores or rankings. We disclose affiliate relationships on every review.
